Destiny 2 Lore - Ghost of the Deep Dungeon Explained! | Myelin Games

Welcome back Guardians. The Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon might be my new favorite dungeon, from the mechanics, to the armor, to the environment, and of course, the story. However, at first glance, the story can be misleading, and that is mainly because of how heavily it features Xivu Arath. In game, you see an attempt to revive Oryx by the lucent Hive; however, Xivu’s dialogue appears to oppose this. So what is going on?

To truly understand what is happening in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, you have to read the lore on the armor. And so, that is what we are talking about today.
