Recipe for Beef Steak with Red Wine Sauce. This is a great dish for Christmas dinner or any special occasion. Today's meat is a sirloin steak from Costco. I explained how to cook the bold chunks of meat using only a frying pan. The sauce is also an easy ingredient to make at home, so I hope it will be of some help.
Ingredients (about 2 servings)
Sirloin, about 400-450g
(about 2.5 to 3 cm thick)
20 g butter (for roasting)
1 clove garlic
1 sprig rosemary
2 potatoes
1 package mushrooms
1 garlic clove
A pinch of parsley
Sauce
1/4 onion
10 g butter (for sautéing)
200 ml red wine
1/2 tbsp honey
100ml fond de veau
25~30g butter (for emulsifying)
