After winter of waiting, the Atlanta Braves finally swung a deal for a starting pitcher to fortify their rotation, trading for All-Star left-hander Chris Sale of the Boston Red Sox just before the new year and immediately signing their new acquisition to a new multi-year contract.
Sale has battled injuries in recent years but finished 2023 healthy and is enjoying his first normal offseason in years. The lefty shared his thoughts on the trade from Boston, his excitement about joining the Braves, what he's doing to be ready for spring training, and how good he believes this rotation can be.
