Shotguns are still around for a reason. They have devastating knock down power and the give the shooter a somewhat better chance of hitting a target. But they have drawbacks, discussed here. At that heart of that discussion is the weight and bulk of the shotgun ammunition. At around 350% heavier than 5.56mm and equally as bulky, keeping the tactical shotgun supplied with ammo is a serious challenge. That’s what this original Nutnfancy video is all about. Laying down an understanding of what exactly you’re carrying the ammo loadout FOR, we talk about specific systems that work and ones that don’t work so well.
Imagine combat operations in Fallujah; it’s like that. Each will require some experience to see if it best suits your system and to gain proficiency in use. Lots of TNP shotgunning over the last 6 years is shown during the discussion. A favorite system is anointed but others equally as capable (like dedicated shotgun ammo tactical vests) are probably out there. In the end however, the carry methods shown are pretty affordable and they work. The worst system is having nothing and thinking it will all work out just fine…just like in the movies.
