Sharing miniature fairy house No.7 DIY idea. In this clay craft project, I use dry brush painting technique.again to highlight some edges. It's fun and satisfying to see flat color turns to a lively and vibrant colors with dimensions. This time I use diluted raw umber acrylic paint color instead of black gesso primer as a base before adding the colors want.
This miniature craft idea was inspired by the autumn season we have now in Melbourne, Australia. I saw fallen leaves at our garden and seems all greens turning to yellow and dry.
I built my fantasy house on higher land contour at one side. So, there are couple of steps to reach the second entrance direct to second level.
Since I am using air dry clay, use cardboard as house frame and aluminium foil as the base. If you like this mini fairy house idea and want to make this with polymer clay, you can do it too but without the cardboard. You can bake the 4 walls and connect them. Well...if you are familiar and know how to handle oven-baked polymer clay.
In this project, I use homemade clay - homemade air dry paper clay.
