Ixitxachitl (a.k.a Demon Rays) may look like simple low-level D&D 5e creatures. However, they actually have some decent lore and variant stat blocks that turn this simple underwater D&D creature into a solid addition in any campaign where ocean travel or shorelines are present.
So today, we're going to go over the Ixitxachitl and all they have to offer and then build a D&D encounter you can steal, modify, and plop straight into your campaigns. Enjoy!
The encounter created in this video uses D&D 5e stats but can be easily altered in order to suit any Dungeons and Dragon game, no matter what edition you prefer.
