Nephron structure and function class 10 | CSEC BIOLOGY TCP. The nephrons or Kidney tubules, are the kidneys’ (functional unit) site of operation. Nephrons carry out ultra-filtration and selective reabsorption during the production of urine. Hence the blood is cleaned and water balance of the body maintained by  nephrons. This lesson is suitable for students doing any biology study, Human and Social Biology and Integrated Science.
