Router based inlay techniques allow you to quickly, easily, and accurately add amazing imagery to your woodworking projects.

With out inlay templates and decorative inlay kits you'll not only be able to add amazing imagery to your project but you can also create heirloom quality items such as Christmas Ornaments, Coasters, and Coins.
We've simplified and streamlined the inlay building process so now anybody can get amazing results, guaranteed! Just follow these simple steps to create nearly flawless inlays each and every time:
* Prepare your inlay materials by using double sided tape to affix to a sacrificial backing board.
* Align the template, using our simple alignment marks, and affix it to the inlay material with double sided tape. Then clamp the entire assembly to a workbench.
* Using a plunge router equipped with a brass inlay kit (BUSHING ON) cut a void by following the shape of a template.
* Using the same template and plunge router (BUSHING OFF), cut out the inlay. Because you used the same shape and took the bushing off the brass inlay kit, the inlay is perfectly sized to fit into the void cut earlier.
* Assemble the inlay into the void and glue it into place
* Finish the project by doing some sanding, gap filling (sanding with glue smeared into the tiny gaps, and applying a finish of your choice to the project.
The beauty of the process is that your plunge router acts like a handheld CNC machine. With that capability coupled with our inlay designs you'll soon be creating amazing works of art that will impress even your most critical friend!
