Greetings to everyone from Beirut, the new country of Lebanon!
Even though you still know me in Syria while I was shooting this video, I went to Beirut. I saw this as appropriate due to the increasing terrorist threat. Lebanon is actually one of the countries that I sympathize with, which is important to me in the middle east. However, he is not having very pleasant days due to the negative events and economic depression he has experienced recently.
I wanted to present you a few videos on my short trip to Beirut. I will tell you the details of where to go and what to do from here.
About Beirut:
Beirut is a city with a rich history and cultural heritage. It has been under the influence of many civilizations since ancient times, and this has made the city very rich in terms of history. There are historical structures such as ancient Roman ruins and artifacts from the Byzantine period in the city.
The city offers a rich cultural mosaic with its diverse neighborhoods. Its narrow streets decorated with traditional Lebanese architecture create a wonderful contrast with its old buildings and modern structures. Neighborhoods such as Hamra, Mar Mikhael and Gemmayzeh form the center of the city's vibrant cultural life. While walking around here, you will see that the local people are friendly and hospitable.
Lebanese cuisine also impresses with its world-famous flavors. In Beirut, you can enjoy Lebanese cuisine at street stalls, restaurants and cafes. Hummus, falafel, tabbuleh, kebabs and other local delicacies will cheer your palate. Beirut's nightlife is also very lively and fun.
However, unfortunately the city has experienced some difficulties due to its past political and security issues and I could still feel its effects even during my visit. That's why it's important to be vigilant when traveling and stay informed about the current safety situation.
Beirut's sea and beaches are also worth seeing. The fact that it is located on the Mediterranean coast adds a different beauty to the city. Especially in summer, you can have a pleasant time on the beaches and enjoy the sea view.
