In this video we look at something called deflection. When we play a shot in pool using side spin then the cue ball is deflected off the shot line, and this is called defelection.  We look at how the pace and the distance between the balls has an effect on things. The video also looks at spin induced throw and how we can adjust our aim to compensate for any cue ball deflection. The shots are carried out on a 7ft Supreme Winner UK 8 ball table, but the principles behind these tips are just the same for all forms of Pool & Snooker.
