Bodycam DUI Arrest - 19 Year-Old Woman Crashes Her Car and Get Arrested for DUI

On June 5, 2022, deputies with the Fond Du Lac Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-vehicle accident. When the first deputy arrived on scene, he was directed to a vehicle that had gone off the road. He had to wade through knee deep water to get to the victim, a 19 year-old female. She was clearly under the influence of one or more substances. She was subsequently transported to the hospital, due to multiple lacerations and complaints about pain in her chest. The deputy went to the hospital and administered a preliminary breath test (PBT) and the results were 0.023% BAC, which is over the legal limit since the woman is only 19 years-old. The deputy subsequently requested a blood draw from the emergency room nurse. The results of the blood draw were alcohol (0.026% BAC) and "restricted controlled substances". She eventually pled guilty to DUI and paid a fine and had her license suspended.
