Oven Roasted Chestnuts
1 lb Chestnuts
Preheat oven to 425 F
Take a sharp knife and cut an X into the flat side of the nut.
Place the nuts flat side up onto a baking sheet or in a cast iron skillet
Place in oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until the shell starts to curl.
Remove from oven and place a towel over the nuts for 15 minutes.
Peel & enjoy!!
