Honestly, I put off this video for a while.
My conversion to Catholicism was actually incredibly difficult for me (mostly because of the jump from an Anglican tradition that felt quite pious to a Catholic Church that seemed confused and–as practiced in certain parishes–irreverent).

I decided to share about my journey to Catholicism from Presbyterian → Anglican → Catholic to help any folks out there in a similar situation to me:
Believing that the Catholic Church is the one, true faith, but disheartened and confused by the prospect of joining a parish (and Church culture at large) that is oftentimes out of touch –or worse– actively disrespecting to Our Lord.
At the end of the day, know this: converting to Catholicism is the best decision I’ve ever made for my eternal soul. I can confidently receive the Eucharist knowing it is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ Jesus. I did not let the fact that many parishes’ liturgies are not what I would prefer (or worse) deter me from converting.
After all, as a horrible sinner, I do not deserve anything (let alone a beautiful liturgy).
All glory and thanks be to Our God for guiding me to His Church. I pray for those of you who are discerning this conversion and am (as always) delighted to hear from you in the comments or my Instagram DMs.
