Everyone may be talking about EVs, but most Australians that are keen to jump on the electric car bandwagon end up buying hybrids.
Toyota's smallest SUV is also most popular in hybrid form, so we've put the Urban AWD model to the test in the real world, with contributing journalist Andrew Chesterton spending three months and several thousand kilometres with his family (including his doggo) on board.
It offers something the Hyundai Venue, Mazda CX-3, and Volkswagen T-Cross can't, and we've got all the real-world fuel consumption and efficiency data to support this, without having to plug in once.
In this review, Andrew also covers off the pricing and specs, driving experience, design highlights, safety, interior space and practicality, and also highlights why you might want to wait for the bigger Corolla Cross hybrid or go bigger again with a RAV4, or just choose a Corolla hybrid hatch instead of an SUV.
