Super8 film footage chronicling the making of Todd's upcoming album, over the last year and a half. The song and the upcoming album were recorded at the famous EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, as well as Audio West Studios in West Sacramento(the last project ever recorded there before it closed) and Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco.
This version of the song is an alternate mix, made before the project was finished. The studio in which the majority of the upcoming album was recorded was EastWest studio 3 in Los Angeles(formerly Western Recorders and later Cello Studios), the same room in which The Beach Boys recorded Surfin' U.S.A. and a lof of the album Pet Sounds, among many others, and The Mamas & the Papas recorded California Dreamin', Monday Monday, and many other hits as well. It was also recorded through the exact same mixing console(formerly belonging to Trident Studios in London) that was used to record David Bowie's Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust albums, and Elton John's Madman Across the Water, Tumbleweed Connection and Self Titled albums. The song you're hearing, like others on the upcoming album, was recorded 100% on analog tape, with no computer editing whatsoever(meaning no pitch correction, no quantization and no audio plug-ins of any kind).
