Are Pistol Chassis Even practical? We take a Look at the P320 in a Strike Industries Small Modular Chassis. I like Some of the work Strike Industries does, it is very Sci Fi looking in my mind.

A brief History:
The concept of a pistol chassis dates back to the early 2000s, when handgun owners began looking for ways to improve the accuracy, ergonomics, and modularity of their firearms. At that time, many gun enthusiasts were already using aftermarket components like trigger kits, sights, and grips to enhance the performance of their handguns.
The first commercially available pistol chassis was the Ronin PDW (Personal Defense Weapon), which was introduced by CAA Tactical in 2008. The Ronin PDW was a conversion kit for the Glock 17 and 19 handguns that provided a full-length Picatinny rail, adjustable stock, and ergonomic grip. The Ronin PDW was designed for law enforcement and military applications, but it quickly gained popularity among civilian gun owners as well.
In 2013, SIG Sauer introduced the SIG P320, a modular handgun that featured a serialized chassis insert that could be removed and replaced without the need for special tools. The P320 chassis allowed users to switch between different frame sizes, calibers, and grip modules, making it one of the most versatile handguns on the market.
Other manufacturers soon followed suit, with companies like Polymer80, Recover Tactical, and Flux Defense producing their own pistol chassis systems for a variety of handgun models. Today, pistol chassis systems have become a popular aftermarket accessory for handgun owners who are looking to improve the performance and customization options of their firearms.
