Sarah Beeny presents a series following amateur property developers around the country. Paul Dare takes his creative development ideas to a Victorian terrace in Taunton, Somerset. The house has no square rooms, the roof needs repairing before a mortgage can be secured, and the makeover plans are ambitious - Paul intends to turn the lounge into a garage, wants a hot tub in the courtyard, and plans a sauna for the tiny bathroom. (Year: 2003). What happened to Paul? Paul says, "it was a great opportunity and I thoroughly enjoyed project managing the twenty-week renovation. Even more fun was working with the Channel 4 team and Sarah Beeny, who has a great sense of humour. The house became more than a project and became my home until the end of 2004".
