Sony FX30 or Sony FX3: Which one is better?

The Sony FX3 has a few benefits over the FX30 with the biggest one being that it’s full frame and the FX30 is APS-C. The one thing I really like about the FX3 is its dual base ISO in SLOG 3 at 800 and 12800. Giving you the cleanest image even in lower light situations.

However, the Sony FX30 is a strong contender and for the majority of people, a really good option. It isn’t missing much for it to be an FX3 and it comes in at $1800 USD. So for those that don’t need the lower light performance of the FX3 and the additional features, save yourself $2000 dollars and pickup the FX30.
