Scammers often use WhatsApp to lure users into traps.
Here are some safety tips for online security  :
• Avoid clicking on unknown URLs or sharing personal information such as banking  details, CNIC, OTP or passwords via WhatsApp.
• Verify the authenticity of requests for personal information, as legitimate
organizations will never ask you for such details via WhatsApp / internet
• Do not forward fraudulent messages, and inappropriate content such as
pornography or blasphemous content.
Report through WhatsApp's in-app reporting feature.
• After reporting to WhatsApp, users can register complaints with PTA through
Complaint Management System (CMS) for further action.
