How to make butter naan at home
Nan or butter nan is usually prepared in tandoor or clay oven. We can also grill them in oven when making Butter Nan at home. Butter nan pairs best with some North Indian curry recipes like butter chicken, paneer butter masala, Aloo dum, chicken tikka masala etc..Here I prepared this delicious butter nan for my dinner meal and served it along with chicken vindaloo ( spicy Goan chicken curry). Butter nan is one of the most popular Indian flat bread which is prepared using All purpose flour, curd, baking soda, sugar and salt. You can also use wheat flour for making this easy Nan recipe. Usually Nan bread is prepared by using yeast or sometimes egg. But here I prepared it using curd and baking soda which act as a leavening agent instead of yeast. This recipe for nan us very simple and easy. Moreover the use of Tawa or skillet instead of oven makes this nan recipe easier. Please keep in mind that it is better to use pressure cooker for making nan instead if using nonstick frying pan .
