Production Kawaii has recently launched the “Kawaii Idol Project” with the goal of creating 3D models of all Kawaii talents for our first live performance! To support the talents with their dream of becoming an idol, Production Kawaii has also offered us a budget to create song covers during the period of the Kickstarter and this is my first ever song cover fully supported by the idol project. And it might be one of the best song covers I have ever made. For the entirety of my career as a VTuber in kawaii, I always put a lot of hard work into my song covers. I have always been expressive about my passion for singing and this idol project opens up an opportunity for me to have my voice reach more people. It has always been my dream to perform on a big stage, and I want to see this dream come true with everyone else. The Kawaii 3D Idol Project Kickstarter is an All or Nothing project, meaning this is our only chance to become 3D without having to wait for the 150k subscriber milestone set by our management team. Truth be told, 150k subscribers feels so far away if we were to look at things realistically. I don’t even know if I’ll ever witness the day I’ll get my 3D here in Kawaii. Will 3D come first or my retirement in VTubing? No one can certainly tell and that’s why me and everyone else is working hard to really make this happen. In my own effort to promote the kickstarter, I decided to do it by showing everyone how I would shine as an idol⁠— through singing. This song cover is for my Coleknights who have always supported me and for the people who have yet to see my potential as an idol. I chose Leia because it’s a song that perfectly showcases my range and power vocals. I sang this with a lot of emotion in line with the song’s lyrics and message.
