Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Algeria at 13.55 on a private plane "TUR" to pay an official visit.
President Erdoğan was welcomed by Algerian President Abdelmecid Tebbun upon his arrival at Algeria Huari Bumedyen Airport.
During the welcome, two children wearing traditional clothes presented flowers to Erdoğan.
Later, an official welcoming ceremony was organised for President Erdoğan at the airport.
After Erdoğan and Tebbun took their places in the ceremony area, the national anthems of the two countries were played. Erdoğan and Tebbun, who inspected the ceremonial guard, then presented their delegations to each other.
President Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Head of the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç also arrived in Algeria.
