Southern Bobwhite Quail Hunting - Plantation Quail - A Project Upland Original Film

Southern bobwhite quail hunting is a tradition of bird dogs, plantation culture, and of course - quail. Project Upland Magazine journeys to Virginia to explore a private quail plantation and the culture that has been passed on through generations. From fine pointers and setters, to delicious quail dinners, this journey gives us a glimpse at a world often misunderstood and out of reach to many of us (ourselves included).

The folks as Cedar Grove give an honest perspective of early released quail and the desire to pursue this unique tradition of buggies and horseback. Despite the exclusivity of such world a love for bird hunting is something that transcends many divides as the people here love the pursuit of the uplands as much as any of us.
