‘Pathetic ending’: Democrats will watch Biden ‘fall on his own sword’

Former White House staff member Barbara Heineback says Democrats will watch Joe Biden “fall on his own sword” which is a “pathetic ending” for a man who has been in politics for 50 years.

House Democrats are holding emergency talks to discuss the viability of US President Joe Biden's candidacy.

“The Democrats tried to help him go out the side door gracefully,” Ms Heineback told Sky News Australia.

“Now I believe the only alternative they have is to watch him fall on his own sword, and that’s a pathetic ending to a man that’s had 50 years in politics.”
