In this video, we examine the difference between two familiar mental experiences, consciousness and sentience. Many people consider these ideas the be exactly the same, but if we examine the matter more closely, we find that there is really a difference between these two ideas. The purpose of this video is not to officially redefine terms, but rather to make the videos that I present on this channel easier to understand. Every time I use the word consciousness, this video can be referred to in order to understand what I mean. This will also help people to understand the idea of consciousness in certain psychology theories. Please like and subscribe if you find my videos interesting!
