Namaskara Devru!,
Welcome to Uganda's breathtaking Biwidi National Forest, where we embark on a captivating adventure to encounter the majestic Mountain gorillas. With only 1050 gorillas left in the world, and a critical population of 400 in Uganda, these incredible creatures are on the verge of extinction. Preserving them is vital for the sake of future generations.
In this dense forest, we are guided by expert Rangers, who lead us through the wilderness in search of the gorillas' habitat. Finally, our efforts are rewarded as we reach the presence of these awe-inspiring creatures. Weighing between 100 to 300kgs, the gorillas command both power and grace, while the baby gorillas steal our hearts with their adorable charm.
Sadly, the Batwa tribes pose a threat to the gorillas, hunting them for sustenance, contributing to their dwindling numbers. During our journey, we encounter these tribes and observe their hunting practices.
The forest reveals its enchanting beauty with a myriad of butterflies fluttering around and mesmerizing waterfalls gracing the landscape, making the journey truly extraordinary.
