NYISO ready for a blackout

RENSSELAER -- The New York Independent System Operator showed off their new $38 million control center on Tuesday.

Upgrades to the center include the latest digital technology to help keep track of where the problems are during power outages. The NYISO oversees the state's bulk electricity grid and wholesale electricity markets.
