Varaheem Vaishnaveem in Raga Vegavahini set to Misrachapu.This is the only composition of Muthuswami Deekshitar on Goddess Varahi.

Maha varahi resides in the srichakra in the 16 th pragaram. She emerged from the floral arrow of devi sri lalitha parameshwari and is a symbol of purity peace and prosperity. She is the commander of the battalion of Sri Rajarajeshwari.

She is also said to have been created  out of boar  form of Lord Vishnu and represents lord yama's energy. She is one of the sapta matrikas.
She protects the devotees against all the odds and relieves them from evil forces.

This kriti is in Raga Vegavahini which is the equivalent of Chakravakam.
