In this Napoleonic Total War Cinematic Battle, Russia marches to capture an important fort. Now at odds with each other, Napoleon keeps an army from Saxony to defend it. As soon as the Russians are seen approaching the territory, Saxony sends word to Napoleon to send reinforcements. With the help of troops from the Confederation of the Rhine, Napoleon orders Lannes and Ney to lead 3 corps to aid the fortification battling against the Russian Empire. In total, the French mustered 10,034 troops in this Napoleonic battle. The Russians separate their army into 4 corps. The 1st corps is attacking the fort directly, the second corps is on its way from the east to reinforce the 1st corps, the 4th corps is placed to the north near a farm to intercept Lannes' and Ney's reinforcements and the 3rd corps is providing support to the 4th corps. The Russians mustered a total of 6,723 troops. The Russians did not expect the French to move reinforcements this fast. However, if they can take the fort swiftly, they can stand a chance to repel the French Empire's army.
