This is just how I feel about the unit I bought. This was not given to me nor do I get money from either of these companies. I did end up returning to the store for the issues I state. Just does not fit what I need it for or compared to what some cheaper ones could do. The no pass through charging, slow, and single battery charging was the killer for me. The postive was the ability to use Ryobi 18V batteries. Can change them while in use and just working with so many other devices. If this unit could of charged at least 4 batteries at once and could of had the unit fully charged in 4 hours, it would be a better bargain. At the moment the EcoFlow (onsale also) is a lot better deal for me and does more of what I need. If you are looking at spending close to $800 on a jobsite system, the ecoFlow will do that for you and have the same or higher Wh for the price (matters the batteries in the Ryobi) for a lot less. The EcoFlow can charge itself and charge other batteries (with AC or USB charging setups) and run other items at the same time.
With the Ryobi just know:
1. Slower charging than some other battery generators on the market.
2. One battery at a time charging.
3. Nothing letting you know how much time on charging fully or being out of power.
4. The watts seem to not be able to go over 2000watts for starting motors for more than a second.
5. Charging area is located very low on the unit.

Positives:
1. Ryobi
2. The worked out of the box with ease.
3. If you already have a lot of ryobi batteries (I had 8 already).
4. Solar charging (USB C so no hard to find adaptors)
5. Can monitor with your phone (nothing extra to buy this is out of the box).
