Lion goes on the loose in Pakistan

An adult lion on the loose has caused panic for two hours in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi. Police said the August 29, 2023 incident happened when the animal escaped from the vehicle it was being transported in and took off on the main road during rush hour. The lion was eventually captured in a nearby building and taken to its compound. Its owner has reportedly been detained.
