Jillani or  Gillani Saadats are direct descendants of Hazrat Syed Abdul Qadir who was born in Jilan or Gilan. Gilanis claim that they are Najib-ut-Taraffain (Nobles on both sides that are to say, Hassani Syeds form Father side and Hussaini Syeds from Mother side) Ex Prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani is prominent and leading personality among them.
