US President Joe Biden has been blasted online after he officially proclaimed Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’.

The initial announcement was in 2021, but on Easter Sunday, Biden became the first-ever president to make the proclamation official.

Benny Johnson slammed the oldest-ever sitting president over his decision to announce it on the Christian holiday.

“Joe Biden has declared Easter Sunday “Transgender Day of Visibility”. What a slap in the face to all Christians in America,” he wrote.

The White House responded to the backlash, announcing it was prohibiting religious-themed designs as part of the annual White House Easter Egg Roll tradition.

A flyer was released outlining the strict rules for the ‘Celebrating National Guard Families’ art event which sees children of the National Guard painting eggs.

The flyer read the eggs “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”
