We describe the main characteristics of the Sun, such as the distance between the Sun and the Earth, temperature inside the sun, temperature at the surface of the sun, sun's core, radiative zone, convection zone, and the atmosphere of the sun (photosphere, chromosphere and corona). We also describe the main sequence of sun's thermonuclear reaction by which hydrogen is converted to helium.
