On the 30. April to the 1. May we celebrate "Walpurgisnacht", this time in Braunlage, which is in the Harz.
Walpurgisnacht, also called Hexennacht (literally "Witches' Night"), is believed to be the night of a witches' meeting on the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, a range of wooded hills in central Germany between the rivers Weser and Elbe.
So here it is, a little impression of our journey. :) Unfortunately I couldn't record the main celebration because it started raining really bad but at least I have some footage of the parade and of the Harz itself.
and YES I KNOW. There is dirt on my lense. But I was too lazy to edit it out, so deal with it.
