Hello and Happy Memorial Day my Friends!
It’s Barbecue Season so it’s time to heat up the Grill! Today I am making some delicious Southern Barbecue Baked Beans. These is the Bomb dot com and bursting with Barbecue Flavors! Just in time for your Barbecue Cookouts!
Single Recipe
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 (28 oz) can original flavor baked beans
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp + 2 tsp BBQ Seasoning
2 tbsp molasses
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
Shredded or cubed cooked chicken breast (or meat of choice)
Double Recipe
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 (28 oz) cans original flavor baked beans
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup BBQ Seasoning
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup BBQ Sauce
Shredded or cubed cooked chicken breast (or meat of choice)
Preheat Oven to 275 Degrees
In a large pot, heat oil on medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, sauté until translucent about 2 minutes. Next add beans, brown sugar, BBQ seasoning, molasses, and BBQ sauce. Stir and bring to low simmer. Then put in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and add cooked meat. Stir and serve.
