If you've ever dug trenches, you know how hard it is. This shovel is just made to make this job easier. Unlike a normal shovel, it has a narrow and long bayonet part, which makes it much easier to dig a trench, I believe. If you have to dig a trench with 2 bayonets with an ordinary shovel, then with this one you can dig a trench at once, in 1 pass. The video shows the process of creating a shovel, the digging process, and conclusions - is it so effective. To make a drainage shovel, I needed old water pipes, or, to put it simply, scrap metal. The pipes were marked and cut with a grinder, cleaned and eventually welded. The surface of the narrow shovel was coated with hammer paint to prevent corrosion. In general, digging trenches with such a narrow shovel turned out to be an order of magnitude faster and more convenient than a conventional one. I recommend this homemade product for use, the only remark is that it is advisable to choose thin-walled pipes, to lighten the weight of the trench shovel, a wooden handle may well be suitable for the shaft of the shovel. Well, the blade of a shovel bayonet does not have to be made from a pipe; a 2mm sheet of metal is quite suitable. In general, I was satisfied with my narrow shovel, I recommend it for repetition.
