Did you know that King James I of England was gay?
Well, that’s what history books would tell us; however, a lot of people are still skeptical if this allegation is even true. In fact, his sexuality had been the topic of endless debates. At most, he has long been perceived as an example of an openly gay king who paraded his lovers in front of the entire court but some who disagree point to his passionate love letters to his "male favorites" as proof that language between males was more affectionate than we are accustomed to in the present era.
