The Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency have a joint venture, called the Special Collection Service. The brightest minds in espionage, cryptography and covert operations together in 1 unit. In all the countries where no intel is yet to be gathered, this team goes in, well before all other special operations teams ever set a foot on the ground, and makes intelligence gathering possible.
The Special Collection Service recruits mostly from the U.S. military’s tier 1 special mission units, such as Delta Force and DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6).
