ECDL/ICDL Module 1: Computers and Devices, In this lesson I explore Hardware, I take a look at what hardware is and what devices fall into the category of hardware such as computer, laptops, mobile phones, game consoles, smart tv's, smartwatches and even ATM's. I explain what a peripheral is and give examples of the types of hardware that are considered peripherals such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and scanners. I explore different types of ports (that's the connectors on the back or side of a computer) and the types of hardware that can be connected to the different ports.
