‘Worst Possible Thing’: Timothy Ferriter Severely Abused His Son By Locking Him Up, State Says

Opening statements in the imprisoned son trial started Tuesday. Florida father Timothy Ferriter is on trial for allegedly locking up his teen son inside a room for most of each day, as well as physically and mentally abusing him. “This is the worst possible thing that a parent could do,” the state attorney explained, claiming solitary confinement negatively impacts a child's mental state.
