1️⃣ Strawberry Fields : Memorial for John Lenon near the 72nd street. Here in this area John lenon and his wife yoko ono loved to take a walk.
2️⃣ The Mall : One of the best places to take a walk ,to relax, to read a book. On both the sides you can see the beautiful American Elm Trees with curvy leaves which gives an impression of an architectural space.
3️⃣ Bethesda fountain is one of the largest fountains in New York City. And that bronze statue in the middle is known as the Angel of the waters. This is the fountain we were talking earlier where there is a still from the movie kal ho na ho where Shahrukh Khan dances . Below there is a plaza with beautiful carvings and it’s a popular spot for taking photos. But you can to early morning if you don’t want other people is your photos.
4️⃣ Bow bridge : Bow Bridge offers a picturesque location to stop and enjoy a moment, overlooking the row boats as they glide gently along the Lake. It's a popular place for a wedding proposal, a first-date kiss, or a stunning shot of the Fifth Avenue skyline.
5️⃣ Central Park Reservoir : This place is also known as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The Reservoir was built back in the 1860’s and at the time was the world’s largest man-made lake. You can enter the loop from a whole variety of entry points on all sides of the park. Engineer’s Gate ; South Gate House ; West Drive / 86 Street.
6️⃣ The Ramble : It is a trail in woods where you can hike and enjoy the nature in the mid of New York City.This area was designed to replicate the landscapes of the Adirondacks and a way to truly be entrenched in nature. There is just so much to explore during a visit - Ramble Stone Arch.; Ramble Cave, The lake. The Ramble and it is a great add on to any visit to Central Park.
7️⃣ Belvedere Castle : The castle is called Belvedere which means “beautiful view” in Italian. This Gothic style castle was built in 1869 and its one of the attractions in Central park.
8️⃣ Cleopatras needle : Central Park is the third location for this 220-ton monolith, a single piece of stone carved out of granite at the quarries of Aswan, a major source of stone for Egyptian antiquities.
9️⃣ Sheep Meadow is place where you can come for relaxing, sunbathing, reading, and picnicking, as well as enjoying the stunning skyline of Manhattan.
