This is an attempt to digitally resurrect the village using the wonders of LiDAR technology.
Embarking on the ambitious journey of resurrecting a forgotten village, our initiative seeks to blend cutting-edge LiDAR Mapping methods with advanced point cloud data processing, resulting in the creation of an intricate 3D model. The focus of our revival project is the Jumail Abandoned Village, nestled in the heart of Qatar's northwest coast—a relic of Qatar's pre-oil era, dating back to the late 19th century.
