#anime #madeinabyss #madeinabyssseason2 #animereview Made in abyss is cutesy and wholesome adventure of childlike excitement and wonder. Full of body horror and mutilated corpses. It takes the dark souls approach of throwing you head long into a gorgeous world full of fascinating history, lore and the unknown without really explaining much. But as you bravely venture forth you quickly find out that practically everything here is out to kill you. Or at the very least torture you, but more often than not they’ll do both. There are monsters behind every corner, people are, well as bad as people generally are and even the very world itself wants to turn your insides out if you wonder in a wrong direction. Mainly up. And because of this rule of, up bad, down arguably worse but at least you won’t be bleeding out of your eyes, the show has a very downward progression and I mean that quite literally.
