The 2009/10 season has been Torres most prolific start to a league campaign. Compared to his first two years at the Liverpool, the forward has doubled his goals game ratio. His eye for goal has also taken the forward to within two strikes of becoming the fastest player in the history of the club to reach the half century of goals.
This season has seen the Liverpool number 9 hit 10 goals in the Premier League. The forward leads the league goal charts having struck against Stoke City, Aston Villa, Bolton, West Ham (twice), Hull City (hat-trick), Manchester United and Fulham.
