On June 2nd and June 6th (2024), I made videos regarding weddings and marriage culture.
The first video posted, speaks about the Biblical relationship between God and oaths, and whether we are to make oaths (vows, swears, pledging) to God or anyone else. This video was to set the tone regarding the follow up dialogue.
The second video posted speaks about the history of wedding vows and rituals. In that dialogue, I shared sources describing when wedding vows came into church law & where they came from. I also spoke about different wedding rituals, and their histories.
In this video, I share my thoughts on whether we should practice vows/rituals in our weddings…especially because we are in the awakening era.
