Lake Heviz in Hungary is
Lake Heviz in Hungary is the largest swimmable thermal lake in the world, second only to Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand, which is too hot for swimming.
The water flow in Heviz Lake is so strong that the water in the lake is completely replenished every 72 hours (410 litres per second) Its minimum depth is 2 meters, reaching a maximum depth of 38 meters, exactly at the point where the hot thermal water comes out to the surface.
the temperature on the surface of Lake Heviz depends on the time of year and the weather, on the coldest days it’s about 24°C and in the summer months it can reach 38°C
