The BEST Homemade Vegan Burger | Grillable, No Soy, No Beans

The texture & flavor of this juicy vegan burger will amaze you!  It's also grill friendly!

IN THIS VIDEO I am sharing my plant-based (vegan) burger recipe!  Yes, yall!  It is straight up plant-based WITHOUT the plant toxins.  You cannot get this from the frozen section!  All ingredients are FRESH without soy, tofu, seitan, or gluten.  This is not another mushy bean burger! (Literally, there aren't any beans in this recipe, as I am not a fan of beans). The texture is amazing with a slightly firm outside, but soft moist inside.  A plant-based vegan burger that has the right texture, flavor, juicy, & satisfying!  Your non-vegan friends & family will not believe it's a vegan burger.  BONUS:  You can freeze them!  They freeze very well & can be saved for another day.  I hope you enjoy!  

YES, there are quite a few ingredients, but it’s so worth it! I put a lot of thought into the ingredients for a bomb texture, look, & flavor! 😉

INGREDIENTS (**Please watch video for prep specifics**):
• 1 cup canned chickpeas
• 1 cup steamed raw walnuts
• ¾ cup cooked lentils
• 1 cup portabella mushrooms (sauteed)
• 1 Tbsp tapioca flour
• 1/3 cup oat flour
• 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
• ½ cup cooked quinoa
• ½ cup diced onion
• 1 Tbsp minced garlic
• ¼ cup shredded beets
• Fresh parsley
• 2 flax eggs
• ½ Tbsp smoked paprika
• 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
• ½ Tbsp Montreal Steak seasoning
• 1 tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp ground mustard
• ½ tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 1 Tbsp coconut aminos

WHO AM I?

Hey!  My name is Kia Love!  I am a foodie & former asthmatic that found healing through a plant-based/vegan lifestyle.  I also found healing through herbs & natural remedies.  I went from using an inhaler multiple times/day to not using an inhaler for currently 2 years (at the time of writing this bio).  As far as “vegan”, I prefer the term "plant-based" because it keeps me focused on PLANTS!  There are many processed food products on the market that claim vegan or plant-based, and anyone can easily use those as a substitute for their favorite “traditional” meals; But my FOCUS is creating recipes that use fresh, WHOLE, all natural plant-based ingredients.  LET ME BE CLEAR: I am NOT against the manufactured products.  I use them at times and they are convenient in moderation.  They can also help with transitioning from a “traditional” diet; but as stated my FOCUS is plants.  Truly REAL foods from nature.  That’s where the healing power is.  

I do NOT use SOY, TOFU, SEITAN, or WHEAT GLUTEN in my recipes.  Although all of my recipes are not gluten-free, when I say I do not use wheat gluten I specifically mean I do not use it as an ingredient (such as I have seen many do, for example, to create the Popeye’s chicken sandwich).  I have been AMAZED by the type of delicious & filling recipes I have discovered from using ingredients from nature in a flavorful & creative way!  I am not 100% vegan/plant-based YET, but I want people to know it is OKAY to not be perfect!  Just start & keep going on your journey!  I also want people to know living a vegan/plant-based lifestyle does not mean "rabbit food" or "bland & boring" food.  I have a PASSION for turning those cheesy, ooey gooey, comforting “traditional” favorites into plant-based versions!  It takes some experimenting, but TRUST ME, it can be done!  I have done it & am STILL doing it!  This is the catalyst that has started my channel, and I hope you find my channel helpful and encouraging.
