Lzzy Hale of hard rock band Halestorm tells the story of their #1 rock hit Love Bites (So Do I) and winning a Grammy in the same category as her Heroes. When Lzzy was growing up, she didn’t fit in with here classmates who were listening to boy bands while she was listening to Black Sabbath, Dio and Alice Cooper. How she took those influences and created a multiplatinum rock band on professor of rock.

I love doing interviews with the greats of rock and roll. I’ve never really had a bad experience. Some interviews though are an absolute blast and after you have a new appreciation for the artist because of their personality and passion. Lizzy Hale of Halestorm was definitely one of those experiences. She is straight up awesome. She is the real deal holyfield. She has such a passion for music.
Coming up she talks about how because of her passion for metal, she didn’t really fit in. But it focused her on creating something tremendous/ Halestorm a band that was formed by she and her brother Arejay in 1997. She learned the piano at just 5 years of age, later moving to the key tar, and then guitar lesson at 16.
Halestorm has since become one of the biggest bands in hard rock with 2 gold albums, 1 platinum single and 2 gold singles. Up next she tells her origin story as well as the story of wining their first grammy, a very cool story and how the band created their #1 rock song Love Bites (so Do I)
