My favorite part about this project... there are no mistakes in art! Have fun drawing special additions that make your hallway special. Leave it black and white or add color to complete your project.

SUPPLIES NEEDED
White paper
Ultra-fine tip black marker
Pencil
Eraser
Ruler
Cloth/paper to protect table
*Optional - Colored pencils

TIME NEEDED
The video is approximately 20 minutes, but the drawing may take closer to 45 minutes; plan longer if your child decides to add color. Remember, this video can be paused at any point if you need more time to complete a step.
AGE LEVEL
This art lesson + project is for all ages but geared towards the junior high level.
YOUNGER STUDENT OPTION
Have a preschooler or younger child who wants to create alongside their older sibling? A printable version of this drawing is available (free!). Print the pdf copy and encourage your child to color (or trace and color) the drawing. To print the pdf file, visit: https://www.kristyarnoldstudio.com/sc...
PARENT/TEACHER TIP
Add in hallway features that make the drawing unique -- room numbers, classroom names, posters, locker colors, floor and ceiling designs, etc.
Changing up the media is also encouraged. Instead of colored pencils, use watercolor paints or markers to add color. Just be sure to use appropriate paper for your medium choice.
